The character of the Foreman gives us an insight of who he is , being or not being a manager. In this scene the foreman reveals the key to his motivation.. Fear. Whilst the workers are working intensely hard on finishing this wall , due to the amount of pressure they have on their shoulders they cannot concentrate to protect the country. Inconveniently whilst on the job one of the workers gets killed, not by anybody but a piece of equipment. Once the Foreman investigates what’s gone on his two main objectives are to get rid of the body and to get his workers working as if the situation never occurred. His motivation to disregard what has gone on is the whole concept of his fear. He is extremely scared because he knows what his job is , the city depends on it , so does his life. I would show his nervousness by making him react in a way resembling him panicking for example the quick movement from one spot to another, shouting at his workers to get rid of it, turning away in distraught. I would also want him to have some sort of interaction with the audience looking at them to indicate not to mention anything.
