i personally think the quote on the board is saying. When you aware something is about to happen and you are aware that you have to wait the anticipation is worst that the actual even

“maid servant living alone In a house.”

this sentence is Interesting because I believe everything is put in the book for a reason therefore the writer wanted you to know to know that the maid servant lived alone in the house. Clearly something is going to happen the fact that the maid Is alone instantly makes them appear defenceless to the reader.

sight: fog,boarded houses,police tape,park with broken equipment.

hear: rustling of trees/bushes,foot steps, whistling,wind.

smell: sewers, wet grass.

taste: fear.

feel:wind ,paranoia.
